Presently this institute is stand on 3 Subject Matter Specialist (SMS), Horticulture, Agriculture and Veterinary , one Programme Assistant and one Farm Manager and Nodal Officer for Technical Services . Each of them have their own defined role to play. For example, farmer could consult regarding any problem (soil compatibility crop, HYV seeds, crop disease etc.) with SMS Agronomy. Also ask for demonstration on their field.
Likewise, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary doctor (SMS) will answer you What, How and Why to your answer related with poultry -to- Mithun rearing and egg production-to-dairy. SMS Veterinary is specialize in Veterinary Gynaecology,Obstetrics & A.I. District of who planning for long term horticulture crop production may consult SMS horticulture and whoever are fan of floriculture.
As KVK is for farmer friendly technical support, SMS are pledge to work down to earth with farmers. SMS will go field to field and form to farm for consultation, if interested former approach them. Nodal Officer Dr. Taba Heli is an over all incharge specialist in Mithun.
This KVK had conducted various training on Agri and allied sectors and delivered as a Resource Person on many trainings conducted by ATMA.
